“Sherlock” is back! First Victorian-set clip released

Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch
Sherlock Holmes is back – and back in time – in a new trailer for a special episode of the master detective’s adventures.

The “Sherlock” team, co-creator Steven Moffat, producer Sue Vertue and actor Rupert Graves, who plays Lestrade, showed off the new footage during their panel about the show at San Diego Comic-Con International.

Steven Moffat recently revealed that the decision to use a Victorian setting was based purely on his desire to see Holmes and Watson in their traditional era. Moffat also announced at the panel that the upcoming special will also be screened internationally in “select theaters.”
