The 2015 American Music Awards have kicked off, with all of the action going down at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night (Nov. 22). And who’s winning the top prizes?
Taylor Swift, with her massive “1985” album, led the nominations, winning three — Song of the Year, Favorite Pop/Rock Album and Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist.
Other big winners included boy band One Direction, who nabbed Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo or Group and Artist of the Year; The Weeknd, who took home Favorite Soul/R&B Artist and Favorite Soul/R&B album; and Nicki Minaj, who won Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop album.
